Do I need to do anything?

No. We have already connected your trial panel for you. Your free trial will automatically start at the beginning of your new contract year.

When does my free trial year start?

Your free trial year starts automatically when your new contract year begins. You don’t need to arrange anything yourself.

Does it really cost me nothing?

No, there are no hidden conditions. During your trial year, you pay nothing for your Paneelopnaam. You will still receive the benefits from the solar energy your panel generates.

What about feed-in costs or negative energy prices?

You never have to worry about feed-in costs with Paneelopnaam. There are no feed-in charges, and we protect you from negative energy prices. We only include positive energy prices in the calculation, and these are credited on your annual statement.

Am I committed to anything?

No, not at all. If you decide to cancel your energy contract, your Paneelopnaam will automatically stop. You don’t need to arrange anything.

What happens after the free year?

If you do nothing, your trial panel will automatically stop and you won’t pay anything. If you enjoyed your experience, you can choose to purchase your own Paneelopnaam.

How do I receive the benefits from my solar energy?

The benefits from your Paneelopnaam are automatically included on your next annual statement. You don’t need to request anything.

Can I see how much my panel generates?

Yes. You can follow the energy generation of your Paneelopnaam in the Zonopnaam app.

Do I need solar panels on my roof?

No. Paneelopnaam is especially designed for people who cannot install solar panels on their own roof. Whether you live in an apartment, rent your home, or don’t have a suitable roof, you can still benefit from Dutch solar energy.

I already have solar panels. Can I join?

Sometimes. If you already have solar panels on your roof, you can only purchase a Paneelopnaam if you still have a net energy consumption. This means you cannot generate more energy with your own solar panels than you use.

I have not received my renewal offer for my annual contract yet.

This is separate from your Paneelopnaam. Keep an eye on the Zonopnaam app, where your offer will appear soon. You can also contact our customer service if you have any questions.

Are your solar parks good for nature?

Absolutely. We only develop solar parks in locations where we can make a positive contribution to biodiversity. We research this together with biologists and landscape designers. Want to learn more?
