Will my contract be tacitly renewed?
We work with contracts that can always be cancelled monthly. With Zonopnaam, you are never tied to anything.
Do you have a variable contract for electricity (and gas)? Then you can always cancel it free of charge. Have you opted for a 1-year fixed rate and are you cancelling within one year? In that case, it is possible we charge a cancellation penalty. More information about the cancellation fee can be found at our website.
Do I pay a penalty if I cancel my contract with Zonopnaam?
We would love to see you never leave! But if you leave Zonopnaam for any reason, you can always terminate your contract. No hard feelings!
Please consider our notice period of 5 working days. If you are switching to another supplier, they will arrange the switch. In all other cases you can contact us by phone (085 - 30 32 652) or by e-mail.
If you have opted for a fixed rate, it is possible that we will charge you a cancellation fee on your final bill. With the variable or dynamic rate there are no costs involved in terminating your contract.
Wat als ik een vast contract heb dat afloopt?
Bij een vast contract veranderen je tarieven niet tot dit contract afloopt. Daarna ga je automatisch naar een variabel maandtarief. Één maand voor de start van deze maand publiceren we de tarieven in de Zonopnaam-app. Je vindt de tarieven in het menu (rechtsboven) onder ‘contract en tarieven’.

Paneelopnaam: how does it work?
We want to enable everyone to generate their own solar energy. To make this possible, we offer our customers* Paneelopnaam. With Paneelopnaam, you generate your own solar energy in a solar park in the Netherlands.
You can choose Paneelopnaam with a one-time payment:
- €55 for 5 years
- €90 for 10 years
With Paneelopnaam, you generate your own electricity. You decide how much energy you want to generate. The yield is settled on your annual statement.
*You need an energy contract with Zonopnaam Energie to generate your own energy with Paneelopnaam.
